Our sliced bread comes with the option of 20 slices per bag with a regular cut or 16 slices per bag with a thick cut. Our San Francisco Sourdough is made the traditional way using a sponge (i.e. mother dough or starter) which has been kept alive for several decades. Once the dough has been made up it ferments for 12 to 16 hours. New York Rye is also produced with a sponge. This gives the bread a good east coast chew perfect for stacks of pastrami. Multigrain has a blend of 9 different grains including oats, pumpkin seeds, quinoa, and cracked wheat.
