History

The Maisano family originated in a small town called Piana degli Albanesi, located in northern Sicily. Caterina Maisano took great pride in her heavily guarded recipes which have been handed down for generations. Her daughter, Angelina Galasso, used her recipes to start Maisanos Bakery and Deli in 1996 with the goal to serve our guests traditional Italian Delicatessen foods. Through four generations of family members, Angelina taught us all her mother’s methods.

Through rapid growth and demand in wholesale bread, Maisanos Bakery shut its deli doors down and began wholesale baking. Combining both old world methods and contemporary ideas, we have hit the market of food service accounts with a wide variety of delicious products.
